Sir,
I am enclosing herewith a copy of a petition which has been forwarded to the Secretary of state ior the Colonies, on behal of the Police Officers who came to Hong kong from various Forces in the United Kingdom.
Prior to January, 1946, I was a Sergeant in the Portsmouth City Police.
Although we have been in the Colony about 15 months our position has not been clarified and we should be very grateful for any assistance you could give us.
